Nicholas was selected from a competitive pool of applicants for the inaugural class of the "New Jersey Governor's Fellows," a program dedicated to serving the people of the Garden State.
As a current fellow at the NJ Department of the Treasury, he plays a key role in modernizing operations and crafting policy. His work focuses particularly on enhancing the State’s health benefits program, where he has contributed to initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and maximizing value for both members and taxpayers.

Remarkably, at the youthful age of 21, Nicholas etched his name in history by running for the New Jersey State Assembly with the wholehearted endorsement of the Democratic party. Since, the age of 14 Nicholas has assumed various positions within his family's textile enterprise, a company established by his grandfather in 1946.
Whether he was called upon to be in the warehouse bright and early or elsewhere, Nick acquired comprehensive knowledge of all facets of the business. This experience has instilled in him a deep understanding of the value of a diligent day's labor and effective leadership in guiding a team toward a shared objective.
Rutgers University Student Assembly
In 2020, Nicholas embraced a significant undertaking during their tenure as Rutgers University Student Body President. They played a pivotal role in establishing the nation's first COVID-19 student government relief program, taking swift action ahead of Congress. This initiative provided crucial emergency aid to students grappling with rent difficulties or food insecurity.
However, Nicholas's commitment didn't end there. They embarked on an environmental challenge by championing a student referendum that pushed the University to divest its endowment from fossil fuel investments. By fostering empowerment and facilitating connections among various stakeholders, Nicholas played a central role in motivating the University to proactively pursue Carbon Neutrality and Climate Resilience measures.
Boy Scouts of America
Nicholas is a committed Eagle Scout within the Boy Scouts of America. In attaining his current rank, he accomplished more than 21 merit badges, exhibited Scout Spirit through adherence to the Boy Scout Oath and Law, showcased leadership abilities, and engaged in extensive service endeavors to benefit his local community.
Nicholas orchestrated, oversaw, and spearheaded all aspects of the Landsdown Trail restoration project, guaranteeing the successful renovation and preservation of bridges. In recognition of this achievement, Nicholas was presented with a badge and medal as a symbol of acknowledgment for his dedicated efforts.
